‘Suicide Squad’ Movie News: Will Smith Trains With Navy SEALs and Army Rangers

Will Smith, who is currently shooting for the upcoming DC Entertainment’s Super villain flick, “Suicide Squad” was seen showing off some pretty impressive moves at Taran Tactical Innovations gun range in Moorpark, California. The actor is playing the role of Deadshot, an expert marksman turned a hired assassin and also one of the prime nemesis of Batman in the upcoming venture and will be seen alongside an ensemble cast that has Margot Robbie playing Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as the Joker and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang amongst others.

According to TMZ, Will Smith, practiced for an entire day with Navy SEALs and Army rangers by trying out the Glock 9mm and the AR-15 assault rifle. “Suicide Squad” is an official adaptation of the comic book of same name and the story takes shape when the infamous residents of Arkham Asylum are asked to carry out Black ops for the US government in exchange for pardon. Recently Ben Affleck who is playing the role of Batman in the highly anticipated “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” that releases next year was spotted on the sets of the movie fuelling speculations to what extent his role will be in the movie as the titular character.

There were also reports of Jesse Eisenberg’s character Lex Luthor being involved in the film to some capacity but even that has been kept a secret by the makers. The actor after movies like “Bad Boys,” and  “Men in Black” will be yet again seen as a gun trotting and brooding character that knows his way around guns. David Aiyer is directing the movie and the shoot for the movie has been underway in Toronto where the first schedule is expected to end in August this year. The movie will release on August 5 2016.
