After “X-Men Apocalypse” hits the big screens in the summer of 2016, the production for another installment will start and it is speculated that the shooting for movie “X-Men 7” will reportedly start in 2017.
According to Le Journal De Montréal, the director Bryan Singer, who leads the team of X-Men, will open the production office in Montréal in late 2016. They reportedly have the target to take the preparation for commencing the shoot in 2017. The Journal also reported that this is going to be the third film in the series that to be shot in Montreal. The 2013’s movie “X-Men: Days of Future Past” was shot in Montréal.
“It was a miracle that we managed to attract a movie ‘X-Men’ in Montréal in 2013. To convince Fox to return for a second and now a third is simply amazing,” Michel Trudel, the president of Mel Studios said.
However, Youth Health Magazine brought into notice that Fox did not make any announcement about the movie “X-Men 7” after “X-Men Apocalypse.” The publication also speculated that the next installment could be “New Mutants” movie of Josh Boone. The rumor says that the new movie might be released on July 13, 2018.
On the other hand, there is another information that is even fantastic for the both “X-Men” and “Star Wars” fans. The trailer of “X-Men Apocalypse” will make its debut in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Simon Kinberg, the producer and writer, teased that the “X-Men Apocalypse” trailer is going to be more of a teaser with more substance. His way of boldly confirming this news is an evidence that the said thing is going to happen positively soon.
“Our first trailer will be on ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’ It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it,” Kinberg said.
