In the latest episode of “Witches of East End,”  “Art of Darkness,” someone had a change of heart, while it seemed like that the Beauchamp ladies were not having any luck when it comes to matters of the heart. This episode was more of a “slow down” after the past action-packed episodes. Read on to find out what happened in this episode.

Frederick was still having seizures, and Joanna was determined to find a cure in the form of spell or potion to help her son. Frederick also has a girlfriend now, Caroline, and it was the first time Joanna met her, but Wendy has known her for quite some time now. Wendy and Frederick were getting closer because he saved her life, and Wendy has been helping Frederick with his seizures. During those times, she met Caroline.

Joanna tried everything that she could to help Frederick snap out of his seizures. but to no avail. It turned out the seizures were intentional, and it was Joanna’s father who’s doing this to Frederick. It won’t stop until Frederick completes his mission, which is to find his grandfather, the King, a host. He wants to go to earth, but he can only do so if he has a body to get into. He assigned Frederick to find him one, but obviously, he failed. So now, his grandfather sent some of his soldiers to ensure that everything will now go to plan.

Meanwhile, Wendy learned that her ex-husband was back, and she doesn’t want him to be there. She got invited to a high-class party by a secret admirer. She really didn’t want to go at first, but Freya convinced her to go. Since Wendy’s boyfriend wasn’t in town, she invited Freya instead to go with her. Wendy and Freya decided that they are going to have fun at the party. However, it didn’t go according to plan when Freya spotted her ex, Dash, with her sister, Ingrid.

As for Dash, a private investigator was set on a mission to find him  or the murder of the man that he killed. Dash learned about this, but instead of going to Ingrid for help, he killed another person. Later on, he spilled the beans to Ingrid. Once again, Ingrid was very understanding, and they kissed.

Killian was still under her new wife’s spell, and Wendy also found out that the reason that her ex-husband came to town was to use her magic. Frederick, on the other hand, was now being closely watched by his grandfather’s men because his grandfather thinks that Frederick is stalling him on purpose, and he was right. He almost poisoned his own mother but saved her too. This makes Frederick’s family now off limits.
