Previously on “Witches of East End” Season 2 Episode 4  “The Brothers Grimoire” (air date: July 27, 2014), a chain of disastrous meetings happened. Read on for the full recap of this episode.

Wendy was out with Tommy for the first time, and they were having a picnic and a few bottles of beer when a rat came out of nowhere and attacked Tommy. It turned out that the rat was Isis, a newcomer. She was with her twin as well, and they were both responsible for Victor.

Joanna was so thrilled to get a text from her husband, Victor, that he was coming home. Now she was oblivious to the fact that her husband was captured. The twins Isis and Ivar locked up Victor to find the key, but they did not know that the key was not really a thing, but a person. They were determined to find the key and go after Victor’s family so they could go back home.

This meant that Ingrid needed to move because she’s next on the twins’ list because Victor was not going to give them away. However, she was so caught up with the whole Dash thing because she thought that she was too late. If she came at an earlier time, then Dash would not have killed anyone. Ingrid still wanted to be a good friend to him.

Killian and Dash’s mother left them a treasure that they need to find using their powers. Their mother wanted them to learn about their powers on their own, which was why she planned such a thing.

Just when we thought that Ingrid was the one next on the list of the twins, we were proven wrong when they went after Frederick and Freya. Back then, the twins, Frederick and Freya, were all friends before the twins were banished. Frederick also has a lot of hatred for the twins now. Freya was kidnapped while they blackmailed Frederick by showing pictures of his father captured. Frederick was not that bothered about his father, but Freya was. Frederick was concerned about his twin, and the twins also know that capturing Freya was the best way to get Frederick too.

Frederick decided to take care of the situation on his own, but Joanna caught him stealing the grimier. He told her what happened, and Joanna told her son to stay at home. She would be the one to deal with Isis and Ivar. So much for her courage,  the twins were well prepared. They were able to capture Joanna too with the trap that they have set up as backup.

Ingrid was on her way to Dash and Killian after hearing that a spell had gone wrong. But before she could do so, she was pulled into a trance right away and a creature was in the forest, asking her to come and sustain him. However, the brothers need Ingrid. While waiting for Ingrid, the brothers cast a protection spell on them. However, it only worked for Dash while Killian deteriorates. Ingrid got there in time and reversed the spell.

Frederick still left after his mother died, and he was able to catch up with Ivar. We thought Frederick was out there to rescue his family, but his real intention was to kill Ivar just to upset Isis, who was in control of his family as of the moment. This put his family at risk, leaving Joanna to clean up the mess that his son did. She cast a spell on Freya to release her from being tied to a death trap that was bound to explode any minute now. She did this by switching Victor and Freya’s bodies. Joanna was hesitant at first, but Victor insisted that she do it, and she did. Joanna was able to save her daughter, but then she lost Victor. Moreover, the creature that was calling Ingrid was the one who’s responsible for all the deaths that are happening in East End.
