In the last episode of “Witches of East End” (“A Moveable Beast“), the Beauchamp witches had a hard time recalling what happened after the portal opened. They were afraid that a mysterious creature had gotten hold of the portal and went through it as they had seen some mysterious shadowy movement in the woods. Joanna was able to pull through from her poisoning. Thanks to Frederick who showed up and healed his mother, while Victor went away to the Amazon to recover a cure for Joanna. Ingrid had also been sleepwalking.

Season 2 Episode 2 “The Son Also Rises aired on Sunday, July 13, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on Lifetime. Joanna was very happy that her son, Frederick, came back, while Wendy was still suspicious about his behavior. Joanna was getting worried about Ingrid’s behavior. Freya, on the other hand, found Ingrid in the backyard, just laying there. She’s alive, and as soon as she wakes up, she couldn’t remember anything and asked Freya and Joanna about what happened. Dash got a phone call from the person who’s trying to blackmail him and told him that he killed Killian and that he wanted money for it.

Inside the house, Joanna and Wendy told the girls that their brother was there, and then Frederick came downstairs and greeted everyone. He also revealed that he and Freya are twins, which Freya found awesome. Still, Wendy didn’t trust Frederick.

Joanna was eager to find out the truth from Dash, whether he has powers or none, so she made a “truth pie” for Dash. Then we saw Killian alive and well. Wendy transformed into a cat and went to the EMT who flirted with her and found out that she has a family.

Meanwhile, Dash gathered cash and put it in a suitcase to meet up with the mysterious caller, but before he could do so, he was interrupted by Wendy and Joanna’s presence with the “truth pie.” However, they were unsuccessful.

We saw Killian revealing his powers while he was playing poker, and one of the players got mad at him and wanted his money back. The man’s hand started to break, and without doing so, he was doing magic.

During the fourth of July picnic, there were a lot of people in the park, and the Beauchamps were gathered in one table. Wendy sensed a chill in the air and told them that something’s not right. Freya asked Frederick if he could help her find a missing person with a magic that only twins can do. On the other hand, Ingrid encountered a huge book of occult, and there was a section there about her family.

Freya and Frederick did magic to find Killian, and they were able to locate him, but a giant owl flew at her and disrupted the connection. In the library, with the book Ingrid found, she discovered that she has four arcana abilities. Dr.Foster was acting weird and wanted to take the book with him, but Ingrid wouldn’t let him.

Dash got into the park and put the suitcase of money under a park benc,h while Wendy felt another chill in the air. Dr. Foster who’s also at the park got snatched up by a shadowy figure.

Eva and Killian were doing a ritual, and this confirmed that Killian was  a witch. This made Killian wonder. He didn’t know he was a witch his whole life until today. Dash found Ingrid at the park, and Ingrid apologized to him. Then Dash asked him if something strange happened to her after falling off the jungle gym when she was in the third grade.

We saw Dr. Foster out of the forest and saying, “He’s here. He walks among us. The ancient symbol of the king!” Then a storm rolled in, and they went inside the house. Ingrid then told them that she’s moving out of the house, while Freya was off to Santo Domingo. Dash got another call from his stalker and wanted more money.
