It seems like there are more movies being produced today that revolve around infidelity. Most of them have been box-office hits and they are often filled with so much drama and action (action in a sense of a woman slapping or maybe punching a man directly on his face.) Watch out, there’s another movie about this touchy subject to hit theatres in 2014. ‘The Other Woman” is coming in theatres this April 2014.
‘The Other Woman” is not your ordinary drama-filled third party film. It is an American comedy film directed by Nick Cassavetes (“The Notebook” and “My Sister’s Keeper”).
Cameron Diaz (“Charlie’s Angels”), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (“Game of Thrones”), Leslie Mann (“The 40-Year Old Virgin”), Kate Upton (“Tower Heist”) and Nicki Minaj are the main cast of the film. Filming started on April 29, 2013 and it was completed by August 27, 2013. The set of the film is in Downtown Manhattan, New York City. LBO Productions will produce it and 20th Century Fox will distribute the film.
Last Dec. 2013, the very first trailer of “The Other Woman” was released. Cameron Diaz is currently promoting the movie and has said that she thinks everyone will experience infidelity at some point in their lives.
Check out what Diaz said about getting cheated on in an OK! magazine interview.
“Everybody has been cheated on, everyone will be cheated on. I can’t fix that, I don’t know how. I don’t have any judgment on anybody, I don’t know how to fix the problem,” Diaz said in the OK! magazine interview as stated in US Weekly .
“The reason for our behaviour is that we are human beings, we are complicated,” she added.
Cameron Diaz has been in high profile relationships over the years, including dating Justin Timberlake who is now happily married to Jessica Biel.
“The Other Woman” is coming in theatres this April 2014. It will be released in the U.S. on April 25, 2014, April 23, 2014 in the UK and April 24, 2014 in Australia. This is not your ordinary “third party” film because you’re going to laugh your way through it and it’s not just injected with too much drama, unlike other movies with a similar theme.
