DC Comics has extended its universe and the Man of Steel can be said to be the main entry point. It seems that by all the means possible “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” which is supposed to be released next year will take away the credit to expand the universe.
According to screenrant.com, to begin things, there are new faces in the form of superheroes that will be seen on camera for the first time such as Ezra Miller’s The Flash and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, these will be in addition to the superheroes that we already have. The new faces will come in “Justice League,” a new movie expected to hit the big screen in 2017.
Another member of “Justice League” will get the chance to play a bigger role in the movie “Batman v Superman,” and we are talking here about the “Wonder Woman” which is played by Gal Gadot. According to plans, she will be introduced to fans and viewers in “Batman v Superman” which is supposed to be released in 2016.
Gal will then be launched solo for the movie “Wonder Woman,” the movie is supposed to hit the theaters in 2017. Chris Pine will play the role of Steve Trevor who will be the love interest for “Wonder Woman.” When we talk about villainous roles, Sean Bean and Eva Green will take the charge.
According to screencrush.com, Michelle Maclaren, the famous director of Breaking Bad, was supposed to be at the controls initially, but the responsibility was later taken up by Patty Jenkins who directed Thor 2. The shooting for the movie “Wonder Woman” will begin in November, and little has been known yet about the story of the movie. But we know one thing as of now that there will be multiple timelines in the movie.
Here is the sequence of release:
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” opens on March 25, 2016, followed by “Wonder Woman” on June 23, 2017.
