According to Snyder, Jenkins shares the same vision that they have for Diana Prince’s character. She added that they tried as much as possible to hire more females as part of the production staff and crew.
So far, according to Screen Rant, what is known about the upcoming film is that actor Chris Pine will be portraying Steve Trevor, a World War II pilot who served as Diana Prince’s romantic interest.
The outlet also reports that all signs suggest that Pine’s Trevor will be closest to his current, New 52 iteration. He acts as a liaison between superheroes like Diana Prince and government agencies, such as A.R.G.U.S. and Amanda Waller, who will be portrayed by Viola Davis in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie.
This, however, is all in continuity with the DC mythology and the mythology within the DC Extended Universe.
