Simon Cowell, the program creator of the British reality show “The X Factor,” suggested bringing in One Direction “Big Guns” Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson to the show, in order to increase the viewer rating. Read on to know more details.
We are just two weeks into the new run of “The X Factor” after the last year’s series ended. It seems that the number of viewers of the show is less than impressive, reported Unreality TV. Moreover, the rival BBC show “Strictly Come Dancing” launched on Sept. 5, 2015, beats the viewer ratings of “The X Factor.”
Simon Cowell and other bosses of the show are dissatisfied with their efforts to bring more viewers to the show. Now, Cowell suggested bringing in Styles and Tomlinson, two members of the well-known boy band.
What is the role of Styles and Tomlinson in “The X Factor?” It seems that Styles would be at Nick Grimshaw’s Judge’s House, and Tomlinson would be at Cowell’s Judge’s House.
Cowell strongly believes that having Styles assisting Grimshaw and Tomlinson assisting him would “save” the show. He also believes that the thousands of One Direction fans would tune in to watch the fan-favorite singers at their show, obviously leading to more viewers for their show.
Cowell loves the outspoken character of Tomlinson. Indeed, Tomlinson is not afraid to let people know if they are terrible. One Direction has always inspired people and would bring big viewer ratings.
In fact, “The X Factor” has planned for One Direction live performance during the show’s finale that would air in December.
