4th Impact, previously known as 4th Power, recently gushed on fellow “The X Factor UK” 2015 contender, Jennifer Phillips. Read on to know how the girls view her singing.
On the day “The X Factor UK” 2015 officially chooses its winner and ends the competition, record labels would start approaching the contestants and try striking a deal with them.
And when Phillips manages to land a contract and releases her album, she can include 4th Impact (4th Power) as one of her followers.
In an interview cited by Telly Mix, the group from the Philippines said they would buy Jennifer Phillips’ albums because of her powerful and joyful singing.
“We would buy Jennifer Phillips’ albums – she is very powerful and has a vibe that makes you happy when you hear her sing,” 4th Impact (4th Power) revealed.
Phillips, 49, first auditioned for “The X Factor UK” 2015 with her take on Mary Mary’s “Shackles” (the judges refused her first two choices: Beyonce’s “Halo” and a Celine Dion song).
Phillips shined through the first audition and reached the Six Chair Challenge. On the Six Chair Challenge, she graced the show with Patty Griffin’s “Up To The Mountain,” which Simon Cowell said she just made his job difficult.
Eventually, Phillips received a chair and made it through the Judge’s House.
In her interview with Mirror.co.uk, Jennifer Phillips revealed her edge over fellow contenders in the Overs category of “The X Factor UK” 2015.
“I’m very passionate with the song, the words, the energy and the sounds. I really want to make it come alive,” Phillips said.
Asked where she sees her life five years in the future, Phillips said, “I believe this show is a great platform, it’s going to give me so many opportunities to be seen and heard.”
Jennifer Phillips and 4th Impact (4th Power) are both favorites in the show, with each of their fans expecting them to make it in the Live Shows.
However, on Sunday’s episode, Simon Cowell chose Bupsi Brown, Anton Stephans, and Max Stone over Jennifer Phillips while Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini selected 4th Impact (4th Power) for the Live Shows.
Speaking about his decision on why he changed his mind and did not choose Phillips, Simon Cowell said (via Telly Mix), “I just went partly on my gut, the audience reaction.”
The 56-year-old judge also confessed it was hard for him to lose Jennifer Phillips, but thought Bupsi Brown, Anton Stephans, and Max Stone could “fit in with the competition.”
As for the fans of 4th Impact (4th Power), they can catch the girls at “The X Factor UK” 2015 on October 31.
