According to Unreality TV, 4th Power has admitted recently that the pressure to compete and impress the judges have really been eating them up.
When the four Filipino Cercado sisters namely Mylene, Irene, Celena, and Almira, first tried their luck in the “X Factor” UK, judges Simon Cowell, Rita Ora, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw had their hands down for the group’s rendition of Jessie J’s “Bang Bang.” From then on, the girl band had UK’s attention until now and is also considered as one of the most favorite contestants in the show.
In their recent interview, the group admitted that it hasn’t all been easy as what it looks like because they found the whole competition tough as the week goes by.
“The pressure of going to Judges’ Houses – traveling to Rome together and then having to adjust to everything, like learning a new song, the time zone, and even the weather!” the group said.
Moreover, the group also revealed that winning in the competition would not only make their dreams come true but also can save their father’s life.
Mirror reported that the group said, their father named Domingo, 59-year-old, was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which “if left untreated will lead to blindness.”
“Or dad can’t work now as he has a brain mass and when it gets bigger he is going to be blind,” the 27-year-old Almira said.
4th Impact (or known as 4th Power) went on by saying that their father needs to undergo a certain operation, but they don’t have money for it and it is one of the main reasons why they want to be in the “X Factor.”
“His illness has affected us so much. Every time we sing, it’s for him. It’s our motivation. He inspires us.”
