There might be a “Best of X Factor” special that will hit places or theaters very soon. But will former “The X Factor” UK 2015 contestant 4th Impact appear in it?
Following the recent ratings flop of “The X Factor” UK 2015, it looked like an attempt to recover the franchise is on the way as alleged sources by The Daily Star claimed a “Best of” special is on the round table for release.
However, there were no additional details about its form, whether if it is going to be a TV show, movie, or concert. There were suggestions though that it might be a “documentary type look back” that features past clips of best events and performances, Telly Mix reported.
Another was a “concert style show with performances” from past champions and finalists. If this is the case, 4th Impact might be there since they were definitely one of the best in this season; however, it is yet to be confirmed.
This was not the first time that the franchise released such special release. In 2006, a special edition series that featured celebrities hit the airwaves.
It was aired during summer ahead of the third “X Factor” season and it featured various stars such as DJ Chris Moyles and magician pair Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee, who gave renditions of classic songs.
Although it managed to have good ratings in its broadcast, Simon Cowell, however, was reportedly unhappy about it and even saying the special was “pointless.”
“We are never going to do it again,” Cowell reportedly said.
But who knows the show’s head honcho might change his mind. So if he does, global fans are eager to see 4th Impact perform.
And speaking of 4th Impact, the group is scheduled to appear in the “X Factor” tour starting on Feb. until Mar. 2016, Telly Mix reported.
More than that, here’s hoping the girls land a record deal.
