“X-Men: Apocalypse” is probably one of the most talked about movie in the recent “X-Men” franchise. Fans, however, have been disappointed when they found out that Channing Tatum (Gambit) will not be part of the movie.
According to Yahoo! Movies, ever since Channing Tatum was declared as the guy who will play the role of super powered thief Gambit, people have been wanting to know if they will be able to see the character in the upcoming movie or not. Fans were in for a surprise when a solo Gambit movie was announced but perhaps that was not enough. However in a recent interview, Tatum has clarified much to many’s disappointment that he will definitely won’t be a part of the movie.
Channing Tatum, however, mentioned that he is pleased that the makers have found an appropriate director for the movie in Rupert Wyatt. He believes that the director sees the movie as a big opportunity to bring out the character’s different stories as these have yet to be explored. With producers like Marvel backing the movie, the movie can always go in any direction and experiment creatively.
“X-Men: Apocalypse,” a sequel to “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will see the superhero team take on the biggest enemy they have probably encountered. Apocalypse the almost God like mutant will be featuring in the movie and Oscar Isaac is cast in the titular role. The film stars Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellan, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence along with Hugh Jackman and Nicholas Hoult.
