We can’t deny that actors and actresses have to cope with the strain and the tiredness that comes hand in hand with their job, and at the same time they have to contend with rumors and allegations about themselves all the time. Because of this, it is no wonder that they end up getting a little bit closer to each other on set, during filming, as they become each other’s support systems, just as “Yong Pal’s” Kim Tae Hee and Joo Woon have been for each other, especially as Kim Tae Hee has been hounded lately with rumors regarding her relationship with international superstar Rain. Read on to learn more about how close they got to each other and how they coped with the strain of being leads in a drama, as well as to learn more regarding the rumors that have been hounding Kim Tae Hee.

Recently, the medical and action drama, “Yong Pal,” which starred Joo Woon as Kim Tae Hyun, the titular “Yong Pal,” which literally means a mercenary doctor, and Kim Tae Hee as Han Yeo Jin, the wealthy heiress of the family that owned the hospital Kim Tae Hyun, ended its run on SBS on October 1, 2015.

In line with this, according to two reports on All K Pop, both Kim Tae Hee And Joo Woon talked about their experiences as the leads of the drama, while Hee commented on how close the two leads got during filming, on the SBS show “Healing Camp” last Monday, October 12, 2015.

According to one report, Woon revealed that he had, just like other actors who have portrayed the lead role in a drama or movie, had felt the emotional and physical toll that the project had on him.

According to him, for around two out of three months of filming, the actor couldn’t sleep at all, and thought that he was going to die, as he was so exhausted that there was a time when he had to travel with an IV stuck in his arm.

He then revealed that he feels frustrated when others don’t realize that he is genuinely working hard and trying his best as an actor to deliver his best for the drama.

His co-lead, Hee, had nothing but praise for him, as she siad that she was able to deliver and do her best to portray Han Yeo Jin, thanks to his portrayal of Kim Tae Hyun.

She also mentioned, according to the report on All K Pop, that Woon is very manly when he acts, but also uses child-like words at times. Because of this, the actress said that she would like to have a son like him.

She also stated that Woon was the only co-lead that she had gotten really close to, and said that she was able to “communicate with him the best,” which translates to their wonderful chemistry they have in the drama. Also, she was told by Woon that she was his favorite co-lead in a drama.

“Yong Pal” started off strong and ended well, which is good for Hee, as she is constantly being plagued by rumors that she and her current boyfriend, Rain, have gotten or have plans to get married.

According to  K Drama Stars, the actress tried to clarify these rumors in the July 30, 2015 press conference for “Yong Pal,” by stating that although they have talked about it, like any normal couple, don’t have any sure plans yet of tying the knot with each other. However, she did state that their relationship is still going well and strong.
