It’s Christmas season and everybody is going easy on the drama in the next episode of “The Young and The Restless,” nevertheless there are some interesting twists and turns lined out for the soap opera fans.

The week will begin with Ashley pushing her plan to partner with Dr. Neville. Inquisitr reports that Monday’s episode threw light on Dr. Neville and the role he will play in the story. Ashley has gone forward with starting a business with Dr. Neville.

Heavy website reveals that Phyllis is going to reach out to Billy. She wants Billy to stop indulging in pity for the damage he has done and get on with his life. She wants him to be in the same place as Jack. She wants Billy, Jack, and herself to have a shot at redemption.

Meanwhile, “Y&R” spoilers teases that Gwen will be fired from Jabot because of the financial problems that have surfaced because of the lawsuit. But she will waste no time moaning over the loss and will instead realign with Devon to take up work on a research project with Dr. Neville.

She obviously has some trouble with Devon, who is a little surprised that she had the audacity to ask him considering she had been involved in hiding Hilary from him. The two have a long talk about it all and Devon says that he won’t say yes until his father, Neil says yes. Gwen tells Neil that he owes her because she knows about the incidents at the boathouse.

Ashley and Dr. Neville rent a room with Jack despite warnings from Stitch. Neil tells Hilary that he is regretful of the kiss they shared while Hilary secretly believes that it meant something. Neil says that Devon’s presence has changed everything for him.

Summer has breakfast with Kyle, Jack and Phyllis on her birthday and they bond despite the pain. They talk about Billy’s problems and Phyllis says that he deserves compassion.

So that’s how the soap keeps the story going through the holiday season. “The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays on CBS.
