"A to Z" Season 1 Episode 3 "C is for Curiouser and Curioser" aired on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC. These days, when snooping and social media stalking are done by basically anyone with access to it, Andrew and Zelda believed that they were beyond this activity. Only, they were tempted to check each other out in that rabbit hole called the internet. Read on for the recap to this episode.

One week into dating each other and Andrew (Ben Feldman) and Zelda (Cristin Milioti) were already attached to the hip. They felt that they truly knew each other, so says the narrator. But faced with Stephie's (Lenora Crichclow) dilemma about finding a date without checking out that person's profile on the internet first, Andrew and Zelda began to wonder if maybe they've missed out on a few pertinent information that they should've known about each other before becoming exclusive.

Stephie stated her case. The last person she dated without "vetting" the person was Stu (Henry Zebrowski), and look how that turned out (in the pilot episode "A is for Acquaintance" air date: Oct. 2, 2014). Steph was still pissed off at Stu, so Andrew pleaded that he should bury the hatchet with her, if only so that their friends could have a harmonious relationship around them.

Meanwhile, going against her belief that meeting Andrew without having a clue about his background was part of the thrill and mystery of their relationship, Zelda turned to the search engine and looked up Andrew's name. What she found out was quite interesting, to say the least.

Andrew was apparently arrested ten years ago for a parking violation that lead to a disagreement with the police. When Zelda tried to fish more information from him, Andrew realized that Zelda was snooping into his past.

Andrew: What happened to just having a little mystery?

However, when his friends at work learned that Zelda found out about his arrest, which was supposed to be a secret, they told him that maybe the reason why Zelda was digging things up was because she had something to hide herself. This got Andrew curious. Dinesh offered to give Andrew details of Zelda's Wallflower profile from the archives. But when he could not find anything incriminating, he confessed what he had done to Zelda.

Zelda: It was one thing to do due online diligence. But what I did was such a gross violation of your privacy and of our trust, and I'm so sorry. Luckily, you have more restraint that I did.
Andrew: Right….I read your Wallflower profile. I thought you were digging into my past because you yourself had something to hide. But the only damning thing I could find was that you once ate a cupcake out of the garbage, which, honestly, makes me like you more.

However, Zelda dropped a bombshell on him. She had been married before. She further explained that it was for convenience, and the relationship was platonic. Gustav, her classmate from law school, needed to stay in America and as soon as he got confirmed as a citizen, they divorced.

Later, Andrew searched Gustav on the internet and found him at a nearby restaurant with, who else? Zelda! She was meeting with her ex-husband! As Andrew was stalking them, the police caught him loitering around suspiciously, and so he tried to argue with the cops. It was a scene from ten years ago all over again.

When everything was straightened out with the cops, Zelda once again apologized and explained why she met with Gustav. He was introducing his new fiancé.

Zelda: I’m really sorry I didn’t tell you. I think I was afraid because I know how you seriously think of marriage. I’m less cynical nowadays.
Andrew: Any particular reason?

And then they kissed and made up.

Meanwhile, Stephie and Stu tried to work things out. He offered to help her with her dating profile, as well as give her some tips about spotting nice men on the internet. In the end, however, they still do not like each other, but they pretended to be friends for the sake of Andrew and Zelda.

Lydia (Christina Kirk), Andrew’s boss at Wallflower, also got in the habit of snooping her staff when she overheard Andrew and Stu talking about her. How much do they like or hate her at work? She also found out everyone called her Big Bird, and she made sure that the staff was aware that she already knows about this.
