When it comes to preparing for an upcoming role, fans of actors and celebrities often hear stories of the intensity and the length an actor goes to truly embody the character he or she is portraying, and sometimes, this ends up affecting the person as a whole, and of course, it affects others around them.

Aside from this, it is also not uncommon to hear stories of actors getting so much into their character, so much so that they allow their physical appearance to change, such as Jared Leto’s Joker in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie, or that they act as if they were their characters while they aren’t filming, such as Meryl Streep’s behavior to Anne Hathaway when they weren’t filming while they were shooting the film “Devil Wears Prada”. However, this phenomenon isn’t just exclusive to actors in Hollywood, as all actors, regardless of where they are from, undergo this, such as “High Society’s” Park Hyung-sik, who’s recent behavior and changed appearance have caused several rumors to circulate the internet. Read on to learn more about this story.

A member of the band ZE:A, singer and actor Park Hyung-sik, recently has been praised for his portrayal of Yoo Chang Soo, the son of a wealthy businessman and the boss of the main character’s boyfriend, in the SBS drama “High Society”, which aired from June 8 to July 28, 2015.

“High Society”, which according to Soompi, has garnered high ratings during its run, tells the story of a wealthy young heiress, Jang Yoon-ha (Uee) who hides the fact that she is an heiress, ends up meeting and falling in love with Choi Joon-ki (Sun Joon), a young man who came from the other side of the tracks.

Park Hyung-sik portrays Yoo Chang Soo, Choi Joon-ki’s boss, who later ends up in a relationship with Yoon-ha’s best friend, Li Ji-Yi (Lim Ji-Yeon), Yoon-ha’s best friend, who, has the same social status as Joon-ki.

Recently, several rumors have circulated regarding the actor turned singer, such as the fact that his appearance in the drama was very much different from how he appeared and real life, and as several of his fans became a little bit upset when he didn’t respond to them while he was filming the drama.

With regards to the first rumor, according to K Drama Stars, Hyung-sik, in an interview with Ilgan Sports, informed them that contrary to popular belief and the popular rumor circulating about him and his new appearance, he hadn’t had any plastic surgery done.

Instead, in order to prepare for the role, who changed his diet to included healthier foods, as the star admitted that he hadn’t been very conscious before of what he ate, and revealed that he worked out in order to slim down his physique.

According to Soompi, in an interview that Hyung-sik had with TV Report, the “Real Men” star apologized to his fans for seeming to be aloof towards them as he didn’t respond like he used to, when several of his fans tried to greet him while he was filming “High Society”.

After apologizing, he revealed that he still loved his fans very much, and explained that his behavior was due to the fact that throughout the filming of “High Society”, whether he was on or off set, his behavior and personality was similar to Chang Soo’s character, so that he would be able to better portray the role when it was time to film.
